An adiabatic process can be reversible or irreversible. For a process to be isentropic, it has to adiabatic as well as reversible . this is because irreversible process will include factors like friction, etc which hamper the process from being isentropic. However the converse is not true. You can search for clausius statement and understand its meaning to get better clarity.
