let work done by 1 men in 1 day=m

let work done by 1 women in 1 day=w

So,

4m+6w=1/8 .....(1)

3m+7w=1/10 ....(2)

Multiply equation(1) by 3 and equation(2) by 4

12m+18w=3/8

12m+28w=4/10

Subtract the two equations,

10w=104−8310w=8032−3010w=401

So, 10 womens 1 day work will be 1/40

Thus, 10 womens will complete the work in 40 days
