Let the present age of his sister be x years.

Then, present age of Aditya = (x+3) years.

According to question,

x + x + 3 = 27

=> 2x = 27 - 3

=> 2x = 24

=> x = 24/2

=> x = 12

Hence, his sister's age = 12 years and

Aditya's age = (12+3) = 15 years.
