Solution :-

Let radii of the frustum shaped lamp - shade be r1, r2 and height = h

r1 = 24cm
r2= 16cm
h= 6cm

height of the frustum = l

=>
$\sqrt{ {h}^{2} + ( {r1 + r2)}^{2} }$
=>
$\sqrt{ {6}^{2} + (24 - 16)^{2} }$
=>
$\sqrt{36 + 64}$
=> 10cm

CSA of the Lamp shaped =

=> πl (r1+r2)

=> 22/7 × 10 (24+6)

=> 22/7 ×10 ×40

=> 1257. 14cm^2
