To find : ratio of speeds of Aditya and Vihaan.

Given : distance travelled by Aditya = 3 \ km and time taken = 4 \ hrs

            distance travelled by Vihaan = 11\ km and time taken = 2 \ hrs

  • As we know formula to find speed is :

                   speed = \frac{distance }{time}

  • Therefore , speed of Aditya = \frac{3\ km}{4\ hr}

                                                       = 0.75 \ km / hr

                           speed of Vihaan = \frac{11\ km }{2\ hr }

                                                        = 5.5 \ km/ hr

  • Now , ratio of their speed is : \frac{speed of Aditya }{speed of Vihaan } = \frac{\frac{3}{4} }{\frac{11}{2} }
  • Taking reciprocal we get ,                           = \frac{3}{4} \times \frac{2}{11}

                                                                               = \frac{3}{22}

Hence , ratio of speed of Aditya  and Vihaan is 3 : 22 .

Given,

Aditya walks 3km in 4 hours and Vihaan walks 11km in 2 hours

We have to the ratio of their speeds

First, we have to find the speed of Aditya and Vihaan

Formula,

Speed = \frac{distance}{time}

First we have to find the speed of Aditya

Here, distance = 3km, and time = 4 hours

Aditya's speed = \frac{3}{4}

Now,

Speed of Vihaan = \frac{11}{2}

Now, we have to written the ratio of speeds

= \frac{3}{4}: \frac{11}{2}

= \frac{3}{2} : 11

Take reciprocal, we get

= 3:22

Therefore, the answer is 3:22.
