Adjacent sides of a parallelogram are in the ratio 1 : 2. Find the length of each side of

this parallelogram if its perimeter is 36 cm.​

Answer:

Let the lenght of parallelogram be 1x and 2x

A.T.Q

Perimeter of parallelogram = 36cm

36 cm = 1x + 2x

36cm = 3x

36/3 = x

x = 12

So sides are :

1x = 1×12 = 12cm

2x = 2×12 = 24cm

Recheck

Put in formula :

perimeter = 12+24

perimeter = 36cm
