Answer :

The length of the sides are 11cm & 33cm.

Explanation :

In a parallelogram,

The ratio of adjacent sides are - 1 : 3

Perimeter - 88cm.

Find the sides.

Let's assume the sides as - ‘x’ & ‘3x’

We know that,

Perimeter of a parallelogram : 2(l + b)

Where,

  • l(length) = x
  • b(breadth) = 3x
  • Perimeter = 88cm.

Substitute the values :

→ 88 = 2(x + 3x)

→ 88 = 2(4x)

→ 88 = 8x

→ x = 11

Therefore,

The sides are -

  • x = 11cm
  • 3x = 33cm.
