Subject: Higher Education Becoming Increasingly Difficult
Sir:
I am writing to your good self to express my deep concern over the issue of higher education becoming increasingly difficult for common people of the country. The cut off on the admission lists is constantly rising up; what do the students just below the cut off do?
The admission to the reputed universities and colleges is either secured by students with the highest cut off or quota students. A majority of bright students who have scored just below the cut off and are not in the quota categories, have to suffer.
How can our nation develop when most of its talented youth is deprived of higher education? Through the medium of your esteemed daily I appeal to the Government authorities and the concerned Ministry to look into the issue and take some initiatives to provide equal higher education opportunities to all the talented students irrespective of higher cut offs, quota system, class, color, creed, etc. Only highly educated youth can contribute to the optimal development of the nation.
I hope you will give my views enough space in your daily.
Thanking you,
Yours truly,
Amrita

Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily. I would like to draw the attention of human resource development and other concerned authorities towards the issue of increasing cut-offs in universities and colleges and problems arising due to it.
one of my cousin desired to take admissions in Shri ram college of commerce but he failed because the cut off was 98.75% and he secored only 97% . these high cut off of all colleges and universities made the higher education go beyond the reach of majority of students who score less. this is actually a big issue that requires immediate action.
I hope you will give my views enough space in your daily.
Thanking you,
Yours truly,
Ruby
