Adolescense is an age which makes the phase true,

“No more a child, not yet an adult”

Adolescence is an age of opportunity for children, and a pivotal time for us to  build on their development in the first decade of life, to help them navigate risks  and vulnerabilities, and to set them on the path to fulfilling their potential. It is a delicate period when teenagers establish their personality and independence. It is this phase that an individual finds herself/himself fully facing the external world: basically equipped with the kind of social cognition that she/he has acquired at home, at school, or in the world out there.

Hope It Helps !!!!!!
