Answer:
It is true that adolescents get confused about whether they are a child or an adult.
When I was 15 years old, my school was going for a one day picnic to a nearby hill station. I wanted to go really badly as all friends were going so I had opted for it. Thinking I am grown up and my parents will not have a problem, I signed up for it without thinking twice.
But my parents were against the idea and they canceled the trip. This incident made me confused and frustrated that at times I am treated as a grown-up and I felt like one too, but still the parents behave as I am a child and cannot take care of myself when they are not there.
