The adrenalin glands produce norepinephrine and epinephrine these are called the flight or fight hormones.they cause your heart rate and blood pressure to go up ,dilate your pupils,increase cardiac output,and shunt blood away from your gut and the skin to supply muscle instead.That's why they are called emergency glands.
