Why is it Revenue Recognition and not Prudence concept

Revenue Recognition concept deals with recognition of INCOME and EXPENDITURE.
Prudence concept deals with accounting for PROFIT or LOSSES.
Since, advance is an income to us, it is recorded under revenue recognition.
