First of all lets know what is friction ..it is a contact force which opposes tge motion .there are mainly four types of motion they are static friction sliding friction rolling friction and fluid friction ..advantages of friction are that it helps us walk,it helps us to write,it helps us to move a object from one place to another.
the disadvantage of friction are that it waste energy in some cases.
