Advantage and disadvantage of cleistogamous

cleistogamous flower allow only self pollination. it is it's advantage.bcoz wrong pollen grains can't come in contact of stigma. but at the same time due to continuos self pollination recessive trait or any other trait which are not useful or harmful can't suppressd by dominant genes of other plants which can be obtained by cross pollination only. .
