Disadvantages .

1) Fluid friction reduces the speed or motion of a body ,while the body is moving through the fluid by opposing their motion.

2) A body loses some of their energy while passing through fluid and their efficiency decreases gradually with time .

Advantages.

1) Fluid friction helps in stopping the body and also prevents the harmful solar radiations from entering into water bodies and thus helps in maintaing the temperature.

2) It helps in stopping the high speed of the body or makes it easy to catch fishes in waterbodies easily as it provides some friction to the fishes.

Disadvantages of fluid friction:-
