Media has become a mandatory component of our lives. We have entered an era where we can hardly dream of a life without media. The first impression that comes to our mind, from the term media, is television, or the Internet. Though we use media in the form of newspaper and FM Radio as well, still the first impression is the mere influence of the technology on our minds.

Closely watching the influence of media, we can definitely count and rely on its advantages. The knowledge that it promotes, not necessarily bookish, but general awareness in every field, is remarkable. And the main highlight feature is the knowledge is imparted in an entertaining way. This mode of teaching is very much required to get children close to the subject, and giving them a practical application of the subject, rather than being theoretic.

Media has helped us to promote and advertise any information or product, in a very quick way to the masses. The wide population that it covers would be definitely impossible without the media.



Similarly new platforms like youtube, social sites, blogs, instagram, Twitter all are means of social media which is a vast and fast medium for masses. And being on such sites is easy for any person out there hiding behind the screen.. Ultimately these days the biggest disadvantage of media is accuracy, what to trust and what not to trust is a question mark to all, isn't it?

There are both advantages and disadvantages of media.The advantages of media are as follows:

1. We can make our work faster using media.

2. We can chat with our friends on media.

3. We can get every information happening in our daily life and around the world through media.

The disadvantages of media are:

1. Many stupid and at the same time nonsense games are creating by hackers on media and children are attracting towards them.

2. Children are getting de touched from their parents and friends whom they can see. But they are making friendships with some other people on media who are strangers but they are chatting with them still on media.

3. We are not getting time to sleep using this media too. We are giving much more time towards this media.
