Advantage and disadvantages of mid day meal scheme

✔Midday meal scheme is good for students because -

1)it provides free meal .It is good for students health. this scheme is helpful for poverished children.

2) Supplies nutritious food to poor children which helps them to concentrate on studies better.

3) Students come to government schools daily and won't be asked to do labour work.

Disadvantages

1)corruption is to the large extent in this scheme

2)children are provided with a very low quality of food

3)at some places this scheme do not work properly

4)some people make profit by selling the products given by the government to the schools etc

5)the food given are of low quality , rather are rotten or spoilt and it does not meet the minimum requirements of nutrients etc
