advantages of plastic bags are that we can store eatables in it. It keeps the stored things fresh.Shopkeepers give us things by storing in it.We can keep things in it and can carry easily.Nowdays many things like milk chips etc are manufactured in it.

But despite of all this plastic bags have many disadvantages also such as when they are thrown outside they get eaten by animals like cows and get tangled in their kidneys which causes painful death.They also do not get decompose for over 100 years.They reduce fertility of soil.They are made up of harmful gases and when we store things it it for long time those gases get mixed with food and causes infection and diseases.
