Advantage-

(1) Ease of Reversing Section from One Place to Very Low Spaces However, in the corridor this process involves a lot of expenditure and the depletion of energy is also high.


(ii) The output of the alternating current is very cheap compared to the current stream.


(iii) The rectangular current generators are stronger and easier than the normal current generators.


(iv) The voltage of the rectangular current can be easily reduced or more with the help of transformer as needed.


Disadvantages -


(1) The rectangular current is more dangerous than the current stream.


(ii) Can not use it in electromagnet and electroplating.
