Desert Soil 
Advantages - free- draining, prevents plants from becoming water logged
Disadvantages - less fertility, extra irrigation needed

Regular Soil
Advantages- retains water well, very fertile
Disadvantages- can become water-logged in winters, becomes very dry in summer, less aerated in dry seasons

Alluvial Soil 
Advantages- Very fertile, well aerated
Disadvantages- becomes water-logged

1. Advantages of Red soil:-
a) Red soil is that type of soil which develops in warm, moist and temperate climatic condition and is formed by weathering of metamorphic rocks.

b) Red soils has better drainage capacity than other soils. They are porous, fine-grained and fertile in nature.

c) Red soils have higher iron, aluminium and lime content and have high acidic nature also.

Disadvantages of Red soil:-
a). The disadvantages of soil erosion are damaging both land andaquatic environments by reducing nutrients, increasing runoff andaffecting aquatic life. Soil takes a long time to build up and itcauses change on earth.

2. Advantages of Desert soil:-
a). it has great variety of flora and fauna 

b) It is rich in nutrients.

Disadvantages of Desert soil:-
a) It has lack of water 

b) also the temperature is so high and humid.

3. Advantages of Regur soil:-
a) retains water well, very fertile

Disadvantages of Regur soil:-
a) can become water-logged in winters, becomes very dry in summer, less aerated in dry seasons.

4. Advantages of Alluvial soil:-
a). it is fertile , rich in Humus and well aerated to easily grow crops. Khadar soils do not require any manure to grow crops 

Disadvantages of Alluvial soil:-
a) it gets waterlogged easily
