advantages &disadvantages of northern plains

Advantages of Northern plains are:

i) The plains present in the north have a long growing season.

ii) The plain areas are a good source of building, dams ,canals and roads

iiI)The high density of population help in development of industries.

iv)The terrain is suitable for irrigation and thus has a better agricultural prospect.


Disadvantages:

i) Pain areas are quite populated and therefore deforestation is more common to build up houses, malls etc

ii) Plain areas generally suffer from various diesses as because of global warming

✳️➡️the advantages are-

1) They are very fertile because of the silt present.and fertile alluvium soil.

2) With adequate water supply and favourable climate, it is agriculturally a very productive part of India.⬅️✳️

✳️➡️the disadvantages are-

1) In the northern plains flood occurs frequently.

2) Bhangar which is a terrace-like feature made of alluvium is less fertile than Khadar which is a flood plain renewed every year and is more fertile.⬅️✳️
