ADVANTAGES:

WEATHER. I did try believe me, I tried so hard to not bring this up first but its just not possible. July has almost ended and I cannot recall a single day in the last two months where I havent literally felt cold and put on a second layer of clothing. The weather here is gorgeous. As simple as that.

MULTICULTURAL. While multicultural is more often used to describe a larger plethora of people from all over the world; the term can be used to describe Bangalore in some sense. People from all over the country and outside reside here and hence the city is quite tolerant towards the diversity of culture the people bring in. Kindly include varieties of food in this point as I wont be going into that specifically.

JOBS. Bangalore has been the IT hub of the country for almost 10 years now with Hyderabad and Pune joining the race recently. There is a huge influx of people coming here to earn their bread one way or another.

PUBS. IT culture is known for its radical work timings and graveyard shifts. When people need to unwind and relax over the weekend or maybe even weekdays, the city offers a wide variety of pubs catering to all classes of society. Also the concept of ‘Bar & Restaurant’ for the average male here is quite helpful minus the various taxes that one pays at Bars & Pubs.

GETAWAYS. There are literally hundreds of destinations that can be covered in a day or over the weekend. Just to name a few; Mysore, Srirangapatna, Melkote, ShravanaBelagola, Nandi Hills, Kaveri Nisragadhama, Bylakuppe etc
