India is a country of various diverse cultures. Here,Rituals and language of communication changes on every 100kms2 of Area. India has 24 official languages like Hindi, English, marathi, Gujrati, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Urdu, Kannad, Odiya, Punjabi, Assamese etc. And every ethnic group has a unique culture. They follow completely different traditions from the others.
Every ethnic group celebrates their festivals so lively that other people also enjoys it very much. Like in Navratri, Gujrati people do Garba so lively that Garba is played everywhere ariund the country.
As I wrote before here at every 100 kms2 of Area tradition changes, so changes the food also. Calculating then, India has thousands of dishes. That's why you don't see Indian dishes in a restaurant because you cannot serve all of the dishes at one place.
Also, each area has a unique dressing and traditional Dancing style. PUNJABIs do Bhangra and wear Salwar kurti. MARATHI people do Lavani and wear Paithni Saree & Dhoti-Kurta. South Indias do Kathak and wears Saree-Lungi, and so many.
I don't see any disadvantage over the advantages of indian traditional culture. And This makes India a great nation.
