hey mate here is your answer

Tor or “The Onion Router” is a service created to allow people to anonymously browse the Internet. It is a decentralized system that allows users to connect through a network of relays rather than making a direct connection. The benefit of this method is that your IP address is hidden from the sites you visit by bouncing your connection from server to server at random, in essence, losing the trail.

Drawbacks:

While your data is encrypted along each of the relay nodes, the final connection point at the last relay in the chain can be compromised if the requested site does not use SSL. Tor has a known drawback of substantially slowing down your browsing because of the numerous hops your data is relayed through. For those concerned with the prying eyes of the government, Tor was created in conjunction with the U.S. Navy and is still used by many government agencies. Because Tor has been widely used by political dissidents, journalists, and even criminals, many governments are watchful of Tor users. This could potentially lead to you being earmarked as a criminal type and having all of your online activity monitored.

I hope it's helpful for you

DISADVANTAGES -

Your IP can be revealed when using Tor. If all 3 of the Tor nodes you connect to are owned by the same person/group (it happens but is rare), then your IP can be revealed easily if they are tracking the traffic.

Everything you do can be watched. Tor is the same as a proxy, except it has additional servers added in to hide your IP from the proxy server. Keep in mind that, while your IP is indeed hidden, your data is not: the exit nodes can see everything you send to a website, including any forms/messages you send through the network.

ADVANTAGES

It stops every ISP from you to the edge of the TOR network throttling your bandwidth illegally on the basis of whim or profiteering.

It stops Big Data collectors build up a psychological profile of you and sell that and illegally obtained personal information to whomever they feel like.

It stops hackers from distinguishing personally sensitive data from any other data. Since they cannot distinguish, even if there's a flaw in SSL/TLS, they can't find that data because they have to break everything. There's no way to distinguish.

Because your data is protected, the servers you rely on are protected because they're less able to break in without your data.

Personal security is vital to all other security. It is the foundation.
