Advantages:

1) This fabric is light in weight and even with other heavy embellishments, it doesn't feel much heavy.

2) It is wrinkle free: This fabric doesn't get wrinkles and thus serves fit as a fabric to be used in dresses which are to be used for longer durations.

3) Breathable: This fabric has pores which can easily be spotted by naked eyes and thus this fabric is the best to let air pass through it.

Disadvantages:

1) Not heat resistant: This fabric doesn't have high heat capacity. It can easily get damaged if it gets in touch with high heat or heat above then its tolerance.

2) Uncomfortable: Net fabric is not so comfortable to wear and this is mostly avoided by people to wear on a daily basis.

Explanation:

Definition

Net or netting is an open mesh form of fabric construction that is held together by knots or fused thermoplastic yarns at each point where the yarn cross one another. There are several types of mesh; they are square, hexagonal, and octagonal. The range of mesh sizes is from coarse and opens to fine and share. Netting may be made of any kind of fibre and may be given a soft or stiff sizing. Net fabrics are relatively fragile and require care in handling and cleaning. Torn net fabrics cannot be satisfactorily mended because the repair would be apparent. If the sizing is water-soluble, the fabric should be dry-cleaned.

Types- Bobbinet, Tulle, Fishnet

Advantages of Net fabric

Netting is one of the key components to fishing in mass quantities. This textile is used because of its sturdy yet flexible origin, which can carry weight yet, still be lightweight and compactable. Fisherman use netting when trawling, because it is sturdy enough to carry large amounts of weight as fish are trapped, pulled, then lifted out of water

• Hypoallergenic and does not irritate skin

• Burns as opposed to melts like polyester

Disadvantages of Net fabric
