A nuclear family has its own pros and cons. Lets have a look at them;

Advantages:

> Easy to manage and economical.
> There are lesser tensions at home.
> The family fights are less.
> Better decision making.

Disadvantages:

> There is no elderly support in times of need.
> One cannot leave family for a long period of time.
> In a joint family expenses are met in a combine manner, in nuclear family all expenses need to be bore by one man only.
> Responsibilities are more in nuclear family.
