Advantage-

Red soil is the fine soil that holds a large amount of water than other soil.

Growing crops rice, sugarcane, wheat, pulse.

They are very well suitable for dry farming.

It is highly effective forusese in concrete.

Replacement and cement consumption is less when red soil is mixed in concrete.

It resists the fluid passage, hence it is impervious.

Disadvantage-

The soil is thin poor, porous &has loose gravel.

It is poor in lime, phosphate nitrogen

Low water holding capacity.
