  • do not depends upon agricultural crop or animal farming
  • are much stronger hence more durable
  • are not acted upon by moisture ,Chemicals and bacteria
  • are cheaper than natural fibre
  • easier to maintain as they retain fold made by ironing

disadvantages :

  • they melt before burning so clothes stick to the skin of the person
  • they repel moisture so do not absorb sweat, not comfortable
  • they do not allow your circulation, so not comfortable
  • electrical charges accumulates on them so they irritate the skin.
