Advantages of Synthetic Fibres. Most fabrics made of synthetic fibres do not wrinkle easily. Fabrics made of synthetic fibres are generally more durable, less expensive, and more readily available than those made of natural fibres. Most synthetic fibres can handle heavy loads without breaking.

Therefore it is not advisable to use clothes made from synthetic fibres while working near flam/fire, such as,in kitchen. 4- Synthetic fibres are nonbiodegradable . Therefore they cause soil pollution.

Advantages ->

It is from natural resource.

It does not catch fire easily.

Natural fibres are renewable.

lower pollution levels during production.

lower cost.

Disadvantages ->

Absorbs a lot of moisture resulting in swelling of fibers.

They have less strength particularly the impact properties.

These fibers shrink.

They fade faster loosing color.

These fibers absorb a lot of water.
