It has some advantages like pooling income together and spending it for maintaining of the whole joint family. Children are taken care by grand parents and siblings for each other. ... Disadvantages are that there is always some friction between the spouses and siblings. It is hard to maintain privacy of each other.

▪person get the love of whole family
▪family is with them in sad and happy moments
▪never feel alone

▪u doesn't have much freedom
▪person always have to listen eachother if that person want or not
