The advantages 
1-Tidal energy is a renewable form of energy .
2-It is an environment friendly resource of energy.
3-It has the capability to store large amount of energy compared to other forms of energy.
4-It is a cheap resource.
The disadvantages
1-Lack of ideal locations to set up plants of this energy.
2-Power units may be damaged due to the intensity of the sea waves .
3-Places where it is produced is very far from where it is consumed.
4-The cost of construction is a bit high .

ADVANTAGES:
1. Tidal Energy is an inexhaustible energy.
2. Tidal Energy is environment friendly.
3. Tidal Energy can last forever.
4. Tidal Energy does not require any kind of fuel to run.
5. Tidal Energy has an high energy density.

DISADVANTAGES:
1. Tidal Energy is harmful for the marine life.
2. Tidal Energy is an intermittent energy source.
3. Tidal Energy is expensive.
4. Tidal Energy is not cost effective.
5. Tidal Energy requires a long gestation time.
