These forests are also called tropical rainforest. These region are hot and receive heavy rainfall through out the year. As there is no particular dry season, the trees do not shed their leaves together. This the reason it is also called tropical evergreen. Hardwood tree such as rosewood, ebony, mahogany are common here.
