Disadvantages: A high possibility that pollen grains won't reach and fertilize or pollinate the plant .The plant has to invest a lot into making polling so that it can pollinate other plants.The direction of wind must right as well as speed.

Wind pollination or anemophily is a type of wind pollination, which involves dispersal of pollen by winds from one plant to another.  

Advantages of wind pollination:

Plants, pollinated by wind do not require to invest their resources to attract pollinating animals or insects. These plants show flowers with no scent, reduced nectar production, and colorless floral parts.

Disadvantages of wind pollination:

Wind pollination is a wasteful process as compare to pollination by organisms as not all dispersed pollen get transferred to female flowers or cones. It is also non-directional and causes allergic reactions in people, known as hey fever.
