The Tropic of Cancer (23o30’N) divides India into two equal parts-.
1) Sub Tropical Zone- The Northen part of India is known as the Sub-Tropical Zone. This part experiences cold in winters and hot in summers.
2) Tropical Zone- The Southern part falls in this zone and it experiences hot and humid climate round the year.
The Tropic of Cancer passes through Gujarat, Rajasthan , Chattisgarh , Madhya Pradesh, Jharghand, West Bengal, Tripura and Mizoram.
With these sub-division, there is high provision for tourism and agriculture also. Several crops can be grown across nationwide owing to different climatic conditions. Several flora and fauna also exist in different parts of India as each species can thrive in a particular ecosystem only. Trade and commerce is also very vivid and diverse
