Despite pollution, there is a positive side to it. All the harmful organisms such as malaria and dengue parasite carrying mosquitoes were destroyed helping the municipality. They came out victorious over half of their campaign to iradicate these life threatening diseases. They are now only searching the breeding grounds of mosquitoes to announce the final victory.

Also during Diwali, the population of insects which are attracted to light get destroyed due to sulphur compound emitted by the fireworks.

So every thing about crackers is not bad, but limited use is beneficial.
