Advantage of friction

• force of gravity keeps us in orbit with our feet on the ground.
• force of Friction stops us from sliding all over the place.
• force of up thrust stops us from falling on to the floor when we sit on a chair.
• we cannot fix a nail in the wood or wall if there is no friction.it is friction which holds the nail.
• frictions helps in stopping the cars and vehicle while applying brakes.
