India has a single unified and integrated judicial system for the whole country. It has power to supervise and control the working of entire judicial system in India. It ensures justice to all. Supreme Court has highest judicial authority followed by the high court in the states and then the subordinate courts in every district. The lowest court in the judicial system is code of magistrate which is controlled and supervised by the high courts.

The advantages of having a single unified judicial system in the country include:

1. There is uniformity in justice. If the Fundamental right of any citizen is violated, he can approach the High Court or Supreme Court for justice.They issue writs for safeguarding the right and check its violation in future.

2. If a person is not satisfied with the judgement given by the lower courts, he can appeal to the higher courts for justice.
