As the invisible man, Griffin saw no drawbacks to his physical condition. In fact, it made him feel powerful. He realised that he had the power to do anything he ever wanted without thinking about the consequences, he could steal or even kill, and never once get into trouble for it. He imagined that he would start a reign of terror, where he controlled the people. He wanted to use his invisibility for evil purposes and wanted people to be afraid of him.
