Good morning everyone present here, I stand before you to express my views on ' on advertising is unnecessary as it gives rise to consumerism'. I am going to speak against it. There is so much of debate going on the influence of advertisements on our perception about the world around us. I strongly believe advertisements should not be banned as they make consumers aware about so many new products and services. Imagine the inconvenience and lack of information among people if these advertisements are banned! So many advertisements about medicines are also aired by TV which helps people know their benefits. Timely use of these medicines can relieve many a consumer of pain and inconvenience.

Secondly, have you ever thought banning advertisements can render thousands of people unemployed? There are so many professionals, and general people employed in this advertisement production sector. Cameramen, programmers, technicians, directors, advertisement actors, designers, and many other people are employed in this sector. So, I strongly believe advertising is extremely important as they give valuable information to consumers and give employment thousands of people.

in my opinion everything has a plus and a negative point but for advertisement the positive point are more. advertisement are done to create some awareness among people about some new problem or some new developing technology.
Without advertisement how can the people know about the new development or if some new disease is emerging then how can people protect them selves
so for these purposes posters and TV commercials are used to create awareness among people.
