To find:

The time taken by each of them separately to complete the work.

Solution:

Let the time taken by Advik be x day,

Amount of work he can do in 1 day = 1/x,

Then time taken by Harshith = x/2 day,

Amount of work he can do in 1 day = 2/x,

And time taken by Krithik = x/3 days,

Amount of work he can do in 1 day = 3/x,

They can complete the work in 4 days then:

1/x + 2/x + 3/x = 1/4

6/x = 1/4

x = 24 days

Therefore Advik can do the work in 24 days.

Harshith can do the work in 12 days,

Krithik can do the work in 8 days.
