Hey friend!
_____________

Here is your answer
_______________________

# What is respiration?

Respiration is the process in which organism obtain energy that can be used by the cell, in the form of Adenosine triphosphate ( ATP ).

# What is aerobic respiration?

Aerobic respiration is the kind of respiration which most of the animals undergo. Aerobic means “with air”.
This kind of respiration includes in use of oxygen to obtain energy.

# Formula of aerobic respiration:

glucose + oxygen → carbon dioxide + water (+ energy)

Here,

Glucose and oxygen are used up.
Carbon dioxide and water are produced as waste products.

>> During aerobic respiration, oxygen plays a vital role, process which don't use oxygen are called as anaerobic respiration.

# Aerobic respiration in plants.

This kind of respiration occurs in plants as well. Here is the equation:

Carbon dioxide + Water  → Glucose + Oxygen

Comparing the two equations we can see that aerobic respiration works in the opposite way to photosynthesis.

Aerobic means “with air”. This type of respiration needs oxygen for it to occur so it is called aerobic respiration. The word equation for aerobic respiration is:

Glucose + Oxygen -- Carbon dioxide + Water + Energy

The chemical equation is:

C6H12O6 + 6O2  --   6CO2 + 6H2O + 2900 kJ/mol

Aerobic respiration occurs in plants as well as animals. Oxygen enters plant cells through the stomata. Plants produce their food via photosynthesis and release energy from it through the process of respiration.
