Let the speed of Aeroplane be x km/h.

Distance/Speed = time

Forming the equation with the given conditions,

 \frac{3000}{ x }  -  \frac{3000}{x + 250}  =  \frac{1}{2}  \\  {x}^{2}  + 250x - 1500000 = 0 \\ x = 125( \sqrt{97}  - 1) \\ x = 1106
Therefore Original speed of aeroplane = 1106km/h (approx.)
