Postulates of Bohr's atomic model:
1. Atom consists of two parts i.e., nuclear part and extra-nuclear part.
2.Nuclear part contains proton and neutrons.
3.Extra-nuclear part coming electrons.
4.Centre of atom is called nucleus.
5.Electron revolves around the muscles in a fixed circular path i.e.,orbit.Just like planetary model(it was given by Bohr's).
6. Each orbit have definite amount of energy.
7. Electron revolves around those orbit whose angular momentum is integral multiple of h/2π( h is Planck constant )
i.e., mvr=nh/2π {n=1,2,3,.......}
8. When electron revolve around a fixed circular path they do not loose energy.
9. When electron jump from low energy level to high energy level then, electron absorb energy.
