(b)If Aftab donates thrice the amount donated by Ahmed, then find out the

amount donated by both.​

a) x + y = $₹1600/-$

b) $x + 3x= ₹1600/-$

$4x = 1600$

$x = \frac{1600}{4}$

Therefore, Amount donated by Ahmed =$\large\underline\bold{ ₹400/-}$ (x=400)

and Amount donated by Aftab

= $\large\underline\bold{₹1200/-}$(3x= 3×400)
