Answer:

The graph which is plotted is linear graph , For distance of y km, time taken is x , and the speed of the car is 60 km/h . So While plotting the graph , it is clear that this is linear graph . Here the shown as 6 unit is consider as 60 km/h .

(i) The distance cover in 90 minutes with speed of 60 km/h is 90 kilometers .

(ii) The time taken by car to cover 150 kilometers with uniform speed of 60 km/h is 2.5 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The uniform speed of the car = s = 60 km/h

Let Total distance to be cover = y km

Let Total time taken to cover y distance = x hours

According to question

(i) Given as

Time taken = 90 minutes = \dfrac{90}{60} = 1.5 hours

Let The distance cover in 90 minutes with uniform speed of 60 km/h = d km

Distance = speed × time

Or, d = 60 km/h × 1.5 h

or, d = 90 km

So, The distance cover in 90 minutes with speed of 60 km/h = d = 90 kilometers

Hence, The distance cover in 90 minutes with speed of 60 km/h is 90 kilometers . Answer

(ii) Given as

Distance cover by car = D = 150 kilometers

The speed of the car = S = 60 km/h

Let The time taken = T hours

Time = \dfrac{\textrm Distance}{\textrm Speed}

i.e T = \dfrac{D}{S}

Or, T = \dfrac{150}{60}

Or, T = 2.5 hours

So, The time taken by car to cover 150 kilometers with uniform speed of 60 km/h = T = 2.5 hours

Hence, The time taken by car to cover 150 kilometers with uniform speed of 60 km/h is 2.5 hours . Answer
