Aftab tells his daughter "seven I was seven times as old as you were then.Also 3 years from now,I shall be 3 times as old as you will be." Represent this situation algebraically and graphically.

let the age of aftab be x and his daughter be y.
eq.1⇒ x-7= 7(y-7)
x-7y = -42
eq.2 = x+3 = 3(y+3)
x-3y = 6
subtracting eq.1 from eq.2
⇒y=12 years
x = 42 years

Step :- 2

Given  Condition ,

Seven years ago , Aftab was seven times old as Aftab's daughter

( x - 7 ) = 7 ( y-7 )

( x -7 ) = 7y - 49

x -7 -7y + 49

x - 7y - 42 - 0 ------>> 1

Three years from now Aftab will three times as Aftab's daughter

( x+3 ) = 3 ( y + 3 )

( x+3 ) = 3y + 9

x + 3 -3y +  9

x - 3y - 6 -------->> 2
