In my opinion you can take the present age of Rajesh ''x''

So after 18 years his age shall be more than i.e. 18+ his present age ∴ the first part of equation might be formed like this→ x+18
Now if you go back 4 years Your age might get subtracted i.e. x-4

Now its given that Rajesh will be 3 times old as he was 4 years ago so his present age equation might go like this!!!!!!!


x+18= 3(x-4)
x+18= 3x-12
3x-x= 18+12
2x = 30
∴x =30/2=→The current age of Rajesh will be 15
