given total capacity of tank =56

capacity of tank is equal to 75%

।। 75% of 56=42L

the number of litre in the tank before adding the diesel is equal to 42 - 25 equal to 17 L

Answer:

Let first find the 75 persent of 56 is equal to

56 × 3/4 = 42

It means before filling 25 litres of diesel there was already :>

42 - 25 = 17.

Hence there was already 17 litres diesel after filling 25 litres in it.
