Therefore,

Age of Neeraj after 32 years will be = (x+32)

Age of Neeraj 8 years ago was = (x-8)  

Thus, as per the question -

= x + 32 = 5 (x-8)

= x + 32 = 5x - 40

= x - 5x = - 40 -32

= -4x = -72

= x = 72/4

= x = 18 years

Thus, the present age of Neeraj is 18 yrs.
