x+5=2y+10

Let the age of son be x years and age of father be y years
After 5 years age of son = (x + 5) years
After 5 years age of father = (y + 5) years
Gvien (y + 5) = 2(x + 5)
⇒ (y + 5) = 2x + 10
⇒ 2x + 10 – y – 5 = 0
∴ 2x – y + 5 = 0
